The border is a large river. There are no stepping stones or fallen trees to help cross it, so SlashClan cats improved their swimming abilities to steal BloodClan's forest prey when their prey is scare. BloodClan's leader, Storm, is not interested in marsh prey, so more often then not BloodClan will not trespass.
